The completely renovated head office of Liander, the largest energy-network provider in Duiven (Arnhem area) The Netherlands, had to be outfitted with new decoration and wayfinding, both internally and externally.
All this in a new visual identity and design developed by Fokkema & Partners Architecten; they were responsible for the complete wayfinding signing plan.

Our solution

All identity elements had to be in sync, both in style and execution, with the visual style of this contemporary and energy efficient building; the largest energy efficiently renovated object in The Netherlands.
The assignment consists of in- and external wayfinding and window-pane decorations and distinguishes itself by the exceptionally designed elements, contemporary solutions and unusual use of materials.
VB&VH were responsible for the overall (technical) development , application, production and installation.
Thanks to the excellent cooperation with both the client and the architect we felt like a fish in water and something unique could be achieved.
The use of special materials expresses itself by the application of wooden elements, corten steel (with the characteristic rusty brown colour) and beautiful foil window decorations.
Meanwhile the Liander Head office has become a recognizable ‘landmark’ within the Duiven business environment.
The images speak for themselves.
