NEWLY BUILT ING CEDAR OFFICE BUILDING AMSTERDAM ZUIDOOST
Complete wayfinding by VB&VH
Based on a building design by Benthem Crouwel Architects and interior architect agency Hofman Dujardin the new ING Cedar office building has arisen in Amsterdam Zuidoost, together with the adjacent Cumulus building forming a complete Campus in the near future.
VB&VH have been granted the assignment by ING to develop, produce and install the complete wayfinding and numerous decorative elements.
The design of the wayfinding, including the reception desk ornament, is by Mijksenaar Wayfinding. Studio Dumbar designed the wayfinding in the Cumulus building.
points on the signs and connected to the ceiling climate panels without damaging and hindering of the actual performance.
The material of choice was Himacs ®, double sided prepared by us for double-sided printing.
To connect the 1.5 mm steel wire suspension, 2 miniscule holes were drilled in the top side of the signs, subsequently and precisely filled with a special kit, thus connecting the steel wire invisibly and inseparably with the signs.
In total it regards over 1,700 elements.
