After an international tender Van Beem & Van Haagen have obtained the assignment for both the internal and external wayfinding of Curaçao International Airport, locally also known as Hato Airport.
It consists of the wayfinding in the new terminal as well as the outside airport road signs; also the preparatory survey and the on site installation management are part of the assignment.
In line with a design by Donnely Design from California VB&VH will install 294 wayfinding elements at the airport mid 2018.
Meanwhile it is the 2nd largest airport in the Caribbean; and with the additional new terminal they expect to increase the capacity from 1.6 to 2.5 million passengers per year.
